Dear St. Paul VI Parish Family, We are proud to announce that St. Paul VI Parish will be the host for the 45th Annual Spiritual Assembly Mass for the Chicagoland Association of Holy Name Societies (CAHNS). The Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Church on Friday, June 20th, at 7:00 PM. We are honored to welcome Bishop Francis J. Kane, D.D., as the celebrant for this special occasion. The men of the Holy Name Society are coordinating this event, but as the host parish, this is a celebration for all of St. Paul VI Parish. Everyone is warmly invited to attend! In support of the event, we are preparing a commemorative Ad Book. We invite you to consider purchasing an ad to promote your business, offer general well wishes, or honor a loved one’s memory. Please see this week’s bulletin insert for more details and the Ad form. The deadline for submitting the Ad form is May 23rd. Additional forms are also available at the Lyne Pastoral Center. The St. Paul VI Holy Name Society is honored to host this year’s prestigious Spiritual Assembly Mass of the Chicagoland Association of Holy Name Societies (CAHNS) at our Parish on Friday, June 20 at 7:00 pm. We are planning a Mass at St. Mary Church with a reception to follow the Mass. All parishioners are welcome to the celebration. This 45th annual event is endorsed by the Archdiocese of Chicago and organized by CAHNS, which consists of Holy Name Societies from parishes in Cook and Lake Counties. Each year it brings together hundreds from across the Archdiocese. This event begins with an outdoor procession of colorful banners representing all member parishes in attendance, followed by the Mass. The evening concludes with a reception and dinner hosted by St. Paul VI HNS on our Parish grounds. We will be providing more information in the coming weeks.
