Catholic Charities Wednesday Supper; March 18, 2026

Catholic Charities (CC) sponsors a supper program to provide hot meals for the hungry and homeless. These meals serve as an entryway to CC services. Areas served by these services include Berwyn, Cicero, South Oak Park and West Side Chicago zip code 60623.
 
St. Paul VI Parish takes part in this program monthly on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Cooks and bakers are needed to prepare foods to serve 24. And drivers are needed to deliver food to a CC Cicero location.

To Volunteer, choose one of the following ways to get the volunteer link:              

1. Click on the QR Code.
2. Go to the Parish website, click on 3 lines top left corner, then click on ‘Welcome’, then click on ‘News & Events’, scroll down to ‘Catholic Charities Wednesday Supper.’
3. Request the weekly Parish email newsletter from the Parish Office. Once newsletter is received, scroll down to the Catholic Charities Supper info.
4. Email: [email protected] and ask for the link to sign up. ​

1.  Cooks & Bakers – Prepare food for 24, ready to serve in disposable trays, delivered between 4:45 – 5 pm to St. Mary’s Parking Lot near the entrance off of Herrick Street.

2.  Drivers – needed at 4:40 pm to meet at St. Mary’s Parking Lot to load up prepared food and drop it off by 5:30 pm at the CC Cicero location, where the food is served.
