SAVE THE DATE – The Celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe

The Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe is Thursday, December 12th.
This year there will be 3 days of preparation before the feast. The three days of preparation are called a Triduum. It will take place at the Mater Christi Campus and St. Mary Campus. The celebration is an all-parish celebration for the English and Spanish Speaking Communities.
Monday, December 9th (Feast of St. Juan Diego) 
                Sacrament of Reconciliation Advent- 6:30-8:00 PM St. Mary Campus
                Rosary and Presentation - 6:30 PM       Mater Christi Campus (Spanish)
Tuesday, December 10th 
                Rosary and Presentation - Mater Christi Campus 6:30 pm (Spanish)
Wednesday, December 11th
                Rosary and Presentation -  Mater Christi Campus 6:30 pm (Spanish)

Thursday, December 12th Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe 
                5 AM-    Mananitas (Morning Prayers and Mariachi)  - Mater Christi Campus 5 am – 7 pm
                6:30 PM-Mass of the Roses- Mass with Mariachi at St. Mary Campus 6:30 PM (Bilingual)
                Reception to follow in the parish center/ gym after Mass

Mariachi Sponsors Urgently Needed
This year there will be a morning and an evening celebration for Our Lady of Guadalupe. Parishioners requested for a Mariachi at both services. On December 12th the Mariachi requires a minimum of 2 hours per location. We are asking for help from sponsors/ padrinos to donate for a 4-hour Mariachi. The committee members will are getting in touch with Mariachi groups this coming week to determine their availability. If you are willing to help sponsor the Mariachi, please make a check payable to St. Paul VI Parish. On the memo line please write Mariachi- Guadalupe. Kindly drop the envelope in the collection, the attention to Matt Brophy.

Food Sponsors Needed
We are blessed that the number of attendees for Our Lady of Guadalupe Celebration is growing every year, and with that growth, we are seeking donations to cover the cost of food, tamales, etc. If you are willing to make a monetary donation, please write your check payable to St. Paul VI Parish with a note: Guadalupe Celebration Donation. Kindly drop the envelope in the collection, attention to Matt Brophy.

This year, we are seeking more volunteers to help in any capacity for this special celebration. Please don't hesitate to contact Matt Brophy or Maria Ramos for more information or opportunities to serve on this committee.
