Stewardship Thought
“This man God raised on the third day and granted
that he be visible, not to all the people, but to us, the witnesses chosen by God in advance, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead .” -Acts 10:40-41 The first disciples were people who witnessed the risen Christ in the flesh. The author of Acts emphasizes that they ate and drank with the risen Christ. How we take care of each other "in this life" is an important part of our spiritual life. Stewardship is not about having pious thoughts, but about making life better for others in the flesh.

We are all called by God to be responsible and accountable for the proper use and management of the gifts and resources entrusted to our care according to his desires and purposes. When we give more of our time, wisdom, skills, prayers, connections, and resources we develop a deeper relationship with our community and our God.
There are many ways in which we can serve the parish community, one way is by sharing our treasures in the following ways,
Thank you for your generosity! * If you aren’t receiving offertory envelopes and would like to, please contact the Parish Office at 708-447-1020 or by email at [email protected] |
