Stewardship Thought
“Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross,
and follow me.” -MARK 8:34 Living a stewardship lifestyle means not only being responsible for my own life, but for the lives of others as well. We realize that our gifts are not intended for ourselves, rather they are meant to be shared with others. “Taking up my cross” means doing things when someone else needs me and not when it’s convenient for me. |
We are all called by God to be responsible and accountable for the proper use and management of the gifts and resources entrusted to our care according to his desires and purposes. When we give more of our time, wisdom, skills, prayers, connections, and resources we develop a deeper relationship with our community and our God.
There are many ways in which we can serve the parish community, one way is by sharing our treasures in the following ways,
Thank you for your generosity! * If you aren’t receiving offertory envelopes and would like to, please contact the Parish Office at 708-447-1020 or by email at [email protected] |
