Sunday Mass is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed and the font from which all the Church’s good works flow. The faithful are nourished to work in the world as Christ’s hands, for their friends and families and neighbors, and for those they encounter, whatever their needs may be. From the liturgy, and especially from the Eucharist, as from a fountain, grace is poured upon us. This is how the we are all made holy in Christ. This is how we glorify God.
Please review the many Liturgical and Music Ministry opportunities listed below. Our liturgies depend on your participation, service and spirit and we would be honored if you would share your gifts! Resurrection Choir
One of the Spiritual works of mercy is comforting the sorrowful. If you are available in the morning, most often Saturday, the Funeral Choir gives you that opportunity. We lift up our voices in sung prayer, many times when a grieving family is unable to do so. We do sing in harmony, but we welcome anyone who is comfortable singing the melody of a hymn or song. We gather thirty minutes before the funeral mass to review the music. We appreciate anytime you are available to pray with us, no one is expected to be present at every funeral. It is a powerful experience to be present to your neighbors in their time of sorrow. All of us in the funeral choir believe we receive more than we give. For more information or to join the bereavement choir please contact:
