Dear Ministers of St. Paul VI Parish,
We are transitioning to a new scheduling software beginning February 1st, called Ministry Scheduler Pro (MSP). We hope you will find that this system is as user-friendly as SignUp Genius with additional functions that will make communicating preferences/availability, submitting sub requests, and accessing your personal serving schedule easier.
Bookmark THIS link as this will be your home page via browser to access your canting/accompanying schedule, submit requests, change preferences and availability, etc. It will always be your go-to link. This link will also be available on the parish website where the SignUp Genius button used to be.https://www.rotundasoftware.com/ministry/spvi.
You will be asked to sign in, at this time click, "Sign Up," and complete the registration process. You should be able to add what ministries you are involved in at St. Paul VI.
In addition to the desktop version, you can also download the mobile app for MSP. It is called "MSP" in your app store. Once downloaded, you only need to know the town (Riverside) and the state (IL) to gain access to schedule via the mobile app. "St. Paul VI" should immediately pop up, and then simply enter your login credentials. You can utilize similar functions and access the same information as a volunteer from the mobile app just as on the desktop version.
Under the "Resources" tab for each Mass will be a few different resources that may be helpful to your ministry, such as a link to specific Sunday lectionary readings or the Universal Prayer for a given weekend.
Please know that the schedule is NOT autogenerated. We want to encourage you to continue sign up where needed and at which Mass you typically prefer. If needed, you can submit substitute requests via the app or browser which will then send an email to other qualified ministers to accept if they so choose. You also have the ability on under the "My Profile" tab to enter your Mass time preferences, unavailable dates, serving frequency, etc.
Schedules will come out in two-month increments. The February-March schedule is not "live" yet, but you will be notified when it is. You will then be able to go into the schedule and sign up for available spots for your specific ministry area(s).
You may feel it will be a challenge navigating a new scheduling software, but take heart! We (I, Chris Alfred, and your ministry leader) are here for you.
