Catholic Charities (CC) Tuesday Supper

Catholic Charities (CC) Cicero sponsors a program called Tuesday Suppers that provides hot meals to those in the community that are experiencing challenges.  
St. Paul VI Parish will be sponsoring a Tuesday Supper monthly on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.  Activities will be coordinated from St. Mary Church Parking Lot.  Below are more details describing what is needed of the supper volunteers.
1. Food Volunteers -

• Food needs to be delivered between 4:45 – 5 pm on the day of the supper.  This is very important to ensure the meals can be delivered on time.
• Cook/bake/shop for the main entree, sides or a dessert to feed the designated number of servings.
• Food (main and sides) should be hot and ready to serve.
• Desserts should be individually wrapped in cellophane or baggies.
• Food should be delivered ready to serve in disposable trays.  Cover trays in foil and label the foil with the name of the food and the number of servings within the tray.
• Deliver to the St. Mary Church Parking Lot.  A car will be parked off of the Herrick Street Parking Lot entrance.  The hatch or trunk will be open.

2. Driver Volunteers

• Drivers will meet in the St. Mary Parking Lot off of Herrick at 4:40 pm.
• Drivers will deliver food between 5:15 - 5:30 pm to St Francis of Rome School Cafeteria.  Enter the school from side doors, labeled “F”, from the parking lot on Austin, north of 15th Street.  Once inside, go down the stairs to the cafeteria doors and deliver the food.
