Catholic Charities (CC) has seen an 300% increase in the use of the food pantry since the pandemic. St. Mary is helping to stock their shelves. Donations will be collected every other week and delivered the Wednesday following the collection week. Donations will be collected in bins behind the Parish Office at 40 E. Burlington. (use the drive through for easy drop off).
Gift cards should be placed in the Office mailbox and clearly marked for Catholic Charities food drive. The most requested items: Canned vegetables, canned soup, dry cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter, jelly, pasta, pasta sauce, rice, flour/corn flour, cooking oil, tuna and canned fruit and fruit juice, or gift cards (no money at this time). Use the Sign up Genius to volunteer (recommended) or feel free to leave any non-perishables items.
