ST. PAUL VI PARISH
34th ANNUAL LIMITED RAFFLE TO
BENEFIT ST. PAUL VI PARISH
(Sponsored by the Holy Name Society)
WHAT IS A LIMITED RAFFLE? A limited raffle is one in which there is only a limited number of tickets sold. In our raffle we will only sell 200 tickets.
WHY ONLY 200 TICKETS? There are two reasons why we are only selling 200 tickets. First, the tickets cost $80.00 each and the second, by selling just 200 tickets your odds of winning will be greater.
HOW MANY PRIZES ARE THERE? If we sell all 200 tickets, there will be 31 cash prizes totaling
$9,245.00. There will be 15 - $125 prizes, 14 - $80 prizes and the top two prizes of $1,250 and
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DO NOT SELL 200 TICKETS? The 1st prize of $5,000 and the second prize of $1,250 will be handed out regardless of the number of tickets sold. The $125 and $80 prizes will be awarded according to the number of tickets sold. We will keep a winning ratio of 6 to 1, so if we sell 100 tickets there will be 17 prizes; if we sell 125 tickets there will be 21 prizes, etc.
WHAT ELSE IS THERE TO KNOW? Not only is this a limited raffle, but it's also a reverse raffle. What that means is not the first ticket out of the barrel is the big winner but the last ticket. Att tickets sold will be drawn from the barrel. (Hope your nerves are strong!!)
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW? Yes, with the purchase of a raffle ticket you are invited to attend a dinner at which the raffle will be held. You as a raffle buyer, will also be allowed to purchase 1 - extra dinner ticket, just in case you would like to bring along your wife, husband or a friend. Extra dinner tickets will be $25.00
WHEN IS THERAFFLE& DINNER? The dinner and raffle will be held on Wednesday,
May 24, 2023 in Menarik Hall in the St. Hugh Faith Formation Building. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
dinner will be at 7 p.m. and the raffle will be held after dinner.
